Stress Is Life's Imperfection, If You Understand This!

Stress has been all around us from the beginning of time. To put things into perspective, early humans were under a lot more stress than we are today, (hard to believe, right? ) and the reason is they didn't have any modern-day luxuries that we have access to.

The frustrating part about stress is that it's a constant battle, especially with technology today, we are always connected and never really left with any silence in our lives.  The truth is that stress isn't something that stops at the end of a long day, it's there when we wake up, and it follows us throughout our day.  It seems to be unavoidable.

According to a new study, stress levels do not peak with age but rather will escalate as you age.

Folks in Their 30s…

… may feel increasingly tense and overwhelmed, in need of better strategies on how to chillax. Their goal should be to prevent high blood pressure, prediabetes, and accelerated aging that come with chronically high perceived stress.

Folks in Their 40s/50s…

… may want to regain the buoyancy of their earlier life. Perhaps they want to wake up feeling more restored, without the obsessive thoughts or brain fog.

And Folks 60+

… may wish to optimize their cognitive functioning—to improve their thinking, memory, and competitive edge.

Researchers have found that the root cause of stress between 30 and 60 has escalated dramatically in recent years and is predominately due to hormonal imbalances.   The body is less able to respond positively to stressful situations and this will age us much faster than our chronological age suggests we should be aging. For example, if you are 40, but look 50-55, there is a good chance that your hormones are out of balance and you may be suffering from chronic stress.

How Old Are You?

When it comes to stress, age plays a big part in how our hormones react but hormones are not the only thing that is affected; stress can also affect everything else in our body, such as our sleep and immune system. For example, when we're young and fit, our stress response is more balanced. As we get older, though, our stress response is less effective at keeping things in check. That's because as we age, we produce fewer hormones and have trouble replenishing them after a stressful event.

Stress is the imperfect gift, and it's something we all have in common. But it's more than that. Stress actually shapes our lives and health, whether we're 22 or 72.

With natural hormone balancing, these years can become fun and sexy again. My approach is to target what is causing the imbalance, and then to systematically fix it. It starts with being fully informed about your hormonal status, regardless of age.

Stress is different for everyone, but one thing remains constant: without regular blood work your hormonal imbalance will be a guessing game and you will always be left wondering if your life events actually kicked off your stress response or was stress the culprit for your unbalanced, declining hormone levels.

Listen up! You don't have to be a victim of stress. You can start taking control through a couple simple lifestyle changes.

First, you need to know if your condition is actually a result of stress or changes in your hormones or if there is some other underlying condition.

Hormonal change is a natural process and a normal part of aging that starts around 30.

How to Become an Advocate

Our processes starts with lab work, analysis, and realistic goals. After all, if you start chasing solutions without understanding what's really happening, you are not going to be successful in feeling better.

We help our clients become advocates. We don't just request the typical blood panel. We make sure you are getting a complete evaluation along with second opinions from various experts. Your condition might be typical aging, but often times there is something else going on. We help our clients not only identify the issue, but take the time to understand the issue, so they can make smart choices.

Now that we have a window into into your body, we can start to infuse good choices into your life.
